Loneliness, Smyrna , Delaware

 
On March 23rd, 3 arrests were made of men, ages 66 to 73
in the Canal State Wildlife area
for “loitering for the purposes of sexual activity”

 

1) Who holds what dreams
and how are they shaped
how are they aged
is youth always beautiful

 
2)  whether they wanted
gay love
straight  love
or any love

 3) is of little matter
just that this is how they seached
standing, as though with a sign
as though with a sigh

 
4) old, lonely, need
please sex me
in whatever your ways are
I will-

5)  This is where their
dreams went
dreams went
better than a midnight bar

6) better than
payment for magic
how can it be magic then
if one must pay

7) If one must pay
some ones must
for the reasons
of being alone
 
8)  In my youth
time spent as the product
hope not
to be the consumer

9) one never knows
what will be the future
one can only
hope

Bob was the Chair of The Delaware County Green Party and was the First Green Party Candidate in Delaware County (2005). He was also a Green Party National Delegate, among other duties. He is the Founder and Facilitator of The Pennsylvania Ballot Access Coalition (PaBac), which is a Coalition of both Independents and Third Parties., seeking to legislatively improve Pennsylvania's Ballot Access Laws. (Facebook) Bob is also a founding member and Facilitator of Democracy Unplugged, and Delco Debates, which has presented Independent and Third Party Forums in Delaware County since 2004. Facebook) He was formerly involved with Cinema Resistance, and Delco Pledge of Resistance. Bob currently lives in Swarthmore with his wife and their menagerie of animals. He is currently focused on writing a Novel and organizing his Poetry, which he posts on his Blog (Bob Small1). He is retired from most of the above activities, except Delco Debates and Poets and Prophets, which he may return to.
