Reading Gogol Winter in Spring Journal Entry

This is a log book entry Star date—-

Well anyhow, this is truly Winter in Spring and we went to

Wolfe’s on 452 to buy way too many vegetable plants

assuming that the weather will change, won’t it.

Thanks to Rich giving me the book

The Curse of Doestoevsky ( on my birthday) which

I just finished, I returned to reading

Russian Literature which, as it turns out

enables me to write, one aspect

enabling another.

I want to buy some copies of this

to send to others who read Russian Lit

so I can get other opinions.

Again, I thank Rich greatly

because I had stopped writing

that is anything not a Press Release, etc.

Currently am reading Gogol who is in

the tradition of Russian Absurdists

(The Overcoat, The Nose) and

probably absurdity is a valid form of

belief just now.

Will probably go to the

Swarthmore College Bookstore

just because they are not Barnes and Noble.

(Though I have B&N Coupons in my email constantly.

Life is not always about cheaper.)

Having decided that the missing plane 370

is either in the vein of The Philadelphia Experiment

or some other conspiracy theory,

I listen to all official explanations

with a questioning sense.

It probably did crash, I’m 90% sure

but shouldn’t we have some real proof?

I know the truth is out there, I think.

Will return to some drafted Poems anon

but I just needed to ventilate with a

Journal entry.

Low is 20 tonight and then

we are told

it gets slowly better.
