Upland Peace Camp #5

Upland Peace Camp #5 (subtitled Boredom)

Boredom

The Eagles lost to Wash hing ton

Went down to Bar! Dees! twice

and twice again and twice once more

for coffee and bathroom

read half the Sunday Inquirer Paper News Sports Section

mid-after Sunday noon blahs

all I can do is write

and hope I find a nugget of some thing

to say

Bore dom

Paula went home

for rest and feed pets

Myron and Nancy rest

Terry and Robin sleep

Keith and Caroline man the table

life in peace meal shifts

I call and call my answering machine

no message from the ozone.

wonder if the Cops are as dedicatedly bored

listen to Temple University Jazz Ray dee

and so on and so off

and so

and so

Bore and dom

Does this bore you

have you removed your selves from your seats

for a cigarette, a phone call, to use the facilities,

Maybe what it is

is

the work times for Peace

is not always the flash slam bang!

of war
