Reflections on The Upland Peace Camp Series

Reflections on the Upland Peace Camp Series

If I had more cogent, I might of thought to self-pub a Chapbook, but 1988 was a year in which I was busy getting sober, moving from a room-mate situation in South Philly, to moving in with my now wife in Swarthmore, getting involved in activism again and trying to decrease my involvement with the Philly Poetry scene, etc.  Oh, and amazingly, I was still employed full-time.

It’s only been in the last year or so, that I’ve been able, sometimes, to give myself more to writing, both current and the past, while  whole other voices call to me.

These Poems were all typed on an electric typewriter and scanned to word and then copied and pasted to WordPress and then, when needed, re-edited.

Sometimes it’s just as simple to write new Poems.

Lastly, I’m working on Plays, Play Contests, a Novel and…well there’s real life too, I guess.
