All those
terrible old couples
waiting not to die
not seeking
to live
in the
next
world
______
Is this my last notebook writing
and I just
don’t know it
_____________
all those terrible
old couples
who have lived
a life
not over full
not over rich
but with enough memories
not to want
to see the end
not to want
to see the end
could this be
my last notebook
___________________
All those terrible old couples
why am I writing this
who’s to see
who’s to know
who’s to see who’s to know
unless this is just not
my last notebook

Maralyn;
That’s one of a series I wrote while under the influence of Covid 19 which we had for 2 (two) weels. Let’s talk.
Definitely. People of good will should be allies. I did try to call you. I think a dog woofed but no two-legged being answered.
Let me know a phone number (215-546-6647?) and a good time to call. We should catch up.
