Lather was thirty years old today,
they took away all of his toys-Jefferson Airplane
The Day after I turned sixty
I drove and drove
one of the whats my father said I never would
how sweet are the ghosts we fail to lose
The day after I turned Sixty
listened to some contemp art
wrote it down
maybe Poems by Spring
The day after I turned sixty
I went to the gym in the morning
watched all the women in their shorts
as though I had reason to
The day after I turned sixty ;, – *
called my wife at her conference
told her I still loved her
and still meant it
The day after I turned Sixty
I looked in the mirror for mortality
thought of all I had not
remembered what I had
The day after I turned Sixty
only received one card
it did not matter
still dreaming does
The Day after I turned Sixty
thought of Lather
glad I was twice him
and still had toys
