Maybe we should start
with the first Amerindians
wanting not to let in the warful
white man
——————————————
Would we have a Mattachine/Daughters of Bilitis Room
to remember that not everyone
acceded and agreed, receded and agreed
in 1950’s safe amerika
————————————–
Two four 6 8
Gay is just as good as straight
One 2 3 four
We don’t want your blanking war
———————————————–
How about a simulated Dean’s office
for all those taken over
when that meant something
when words and music were allowed to mean
—————————————————
A Washington background
with an open roof
so we can simulate rain snow heat
to the marches of the masses
____________________________________
On staff, we will have some
Muni cops
with sticks of night and cuffs for hand
and sprays to blinden and deaden
————————————————-
There should be some undercovers
grungy and mumbling
and readytopointyouout
when time is ripe
———————————————–
The battle in Seattle
Biodemocracy whenever it occurs
Protest Left, Protest Right
Protest time still moving
———————————–
This will be a Museum
to remember when there was protest
when it was allowed
not just because it was meaningless
———————————-
The First MNAP, of course
will lead to more
maybe a chain
maybe a memory
of when the times were more desperate
and fears made you act
not fear
to act
